This is the first time I have seen this game on sale, though I wonder if there is a pricing error by Amazon. They list the full prices as $10 with 50% off currently, but on US Steam it is $30 and the Steam price for Australians in $40 US. And besides, the Steam version necessitates having Uplay, so best to pick it up now if interested in this game.
I have no idea when it expires. I just purchased a copy and successfuly redeemed the Uplay code. With Amazon you normally need to set your residential address (not your billing address) to one in the US in order to purchase digital games.
Update: The game is available again (Saturdy 5AM). Rush in before they run out of keys again or fix the preis.
Can you use this for fish?
