Please put USED on the title.

I am just wondering why so cheap.

Yep. Not a deal really. A few places sell exlease 24" monitors for like $99, even better brands like Dell and HP.

Problem is they've already been used 9-5 for 3yrs so really, you're living on borrowed time.

When I buy a monitor I know I'm covered for 3yrs so $99 for basically 3 months warranty is kind of… eh.

You're probably better off buying a new 24" for like $160-$170-$180.

      • Good point, monitors used in a business have likely never been turned off so the backlight will be well-worn.

        • Where I work (government agency), the monitors turn off after 5 minutes of idle time, and they've disabled the capabilities to change or modify that policy. So it's possible that they may not be too worn (depending on where they came from).

Possibly no HDMI - you can get an adaptor for the DVI, but have no CEC interaction of you are using it as part of a MM set-up. I've used and recommended reboot-it for myself and friends before. THey are still a current model, and any faults should show well within the three months..

    Freight costs not specified?

2 available, that's far too limited to be posted as a deal — must have at least 10 in quantity.

    • Yes, thats on the Ebay store, their website has more i think.

Good price for a height adjustable screen. The aspect ratio is also 16:10 which in my opinion is preferable to 1080p monitors.

They usually have decent prices on refurb laptops though. Got my x230 there last year for $300… it broke and after a lot of fighting lenovo replaced it with a brand new x250 this year.

    • I should add that Lenovo failed to fix it on 3 attempts and subsequently blamed me for issues that had arisen while they serviced it

  • This is actually an excellent screen with great reviews. I asked them to confirm no HDMI because this model does have it according to some reviews. I didn't think any monitors of the last 5 years would not feature HDMI?

I've just about given up on a freesync monitor in my price range, so this looks great and the savings can be put towards a 1070…

    • You don't need HDMI on a monitor, that connection was originally invented for television because tellies have built in speakers, but most monitors do not.

I didn't think any monitors of the last 5 years would not feature HDMI?

Many manufacturers now simply just have VGA + DVI or in the more recent years, have DisplayPort, the latter of which is more technologically robust anyway (it is an open standard and does not require royalties to be paid to the HDMI forum, so this saves on $$$)

  • I brought 2 U2412M from them last year, can recommend the store. They brought out like 5-6 for me to pick from at start, and were happy to find ones without blemish etc… in the backroom.
