      The problem is that hanger will leave an indent mark on the headband. Any idea how to make the headphone resting area become more padded?

        I've seen someone modding theirs with those door stoppers. Can't remember how they did it, might have to dig around to see what they exactly did.

      Considering the millions of guitars made with regular Rosewood fingerboards, I think you'll be fine. Brazilian Rosewood on the other hand is the one that you'd have a hard time importing.

    This would probably damage the headband padding by leaving an indent. I wouldn't use this for any valuable headphones.

      I can't imagine most headphones are heavy enough to apply enough downward pressure on their own to make any measurable indent in any padding, unless the padding is extremely soft.

        Long-term continuous pressure will dent any soft and pliable material in the headband. Bad idea.
