  • seems a good deal. My 37'LCD is 1366x768. does B202 support this resolution? Anyone knows, thanks,

    • have a read of the online reviews, from memory it will, however the processor struggles with 1080p video, and i think 720p in certain formats. Its output is dvi.

    • Only the newer ones, EB10** & EB15**, are intended to process high definition.

You can see specs at this US site. I've seen some of them in Aust (search via model number.)

  • I'd like to see it at $250. I've seen it at this price a few times over the last 6 - 9 months.

  • I must admit i'm a fan of the little box,no noise, little power consumption, clings to the back of a monitor like a koala..
As long as you don't do any heavy lifting work with it (720p is about the limit) you're fine. I posted this deal: http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/13025 about a year ago, I would expect since the nvidia ion versions of this little box have come out that the B202 should be cheaper.

    • I understand that they're excellent for 24 hour operation as they produce little heat. The netbook counterparts have far less air circulation and so are less suitable (heat >> fan noise etc).

  • thanks, guys. Much appreciated.
HDMI would be nice. but for that price. good!

  • +1

Had one for a while, used it as a headless (no monitor or keyboard connected) system for security cameras. It's nicely designed for the desktop and blissfully quiet, but for "headless" server use, netbooks are much more convenient to work with.

  • I've been looking at this for a mothers day present!

$299 at Online Computer as well - http://www.onlinecomputer.com.au/product_info.php?products_i…

Will do for just email and skype and stuff right?

  • "HDMI would be nice." it has DVI out, which is the same video quality, but you can get a simple DVI2HDMI plug adapter if you have the HDMI port

"Will do for just email and skype and stuff right?" no problems, it was designed for those kind of tasks

I say you're much better off getting this
