Multi-voltage 100-240v. US plug.
Bend the pins for AU ?
Better off buying s $2 adapter
Install a US power point.
@captobvious: I have a friend in the US. I guess all I now needs a good deal on extensions cords
@Forrest Gump: my favourite plug is the uk one.
Uh oh, you made a deal for the top ranking search alert!
No up vote? You don't think it a good deal?
I don't have expertise in eneloops, so wondering?
I'm hard to please and I don't know how the charger is. It's hard to compare when we've had recent DS and Masters clearances. I'm used to only getting these at clearance pricing :)
So for me I'm just neutral on the deal and it's nothing against EC or the deal, it's my familiarity with what's on offer.

? Your point?
The Japanese ones are far superior to the Chinese ones they sell in Australia
you got lucky and found stock. Alot of us didnt
Actually wasn't masters, wasn't quick enough to that, was a Dick Smith deal that Neil posted, but had to be quick before the site crashed lol
Got some for a Speedlite and some for the xbox controllers :)
Ahh memories, i missed out that day and nearly broke my laptop because of it.
@lyl:
If it makes you feel any better, I don't think I've used all 8 of the pack I got :P
Do American batteries work in Australia? :D
No, their polarity is the other way around
But if you put them in front of "Home & Away' for a whole season, the polarity changes for some reason.
I thought that they don't work here as they are different sizes.
Our AA batteries are 50.5mm long, while the US ones are 1.99"
The AAA batteries are 44.5mm long and the US ones are 1.75" long
Yep but you get adapters, so the AA batteries will fit in a .166' adapter, and the AAA will fit in a .146' adapter
So, what is that in English?
@alucards454: zero dot one six six inch and zero dot one four six inch.
feet
What? I've bought us duracells/energisers instore and brought the back to use in Aus and never noticed any problems.
Oh… Nevermind
Are you sure you don't mean point, instead of dot?
@alucards454: Yea big. holds fingers apart
@alucards454: cant 'point' it out.
Dear Ozbargain
To reverse polarity just put eneloops in between some shrimps on the barbie
You will know when they are done

OK I got em on the barbie….BANG BANG BANG Ah, something bit me!
You will need to flush it down a basin and see if it spins clockwise or anticlockwise.
not unless you have budweiser in you fridge.
China ones?
From the top question on Amazon:
They're Panasonic branded, not Sanyo, and listed on the packaging as having 2100 recharge cycles, not 1800, so based on that they are obviously BK-3MCC (or gen 4 if you want to use that term) batteries. Also, having bought these already, once you get them out of the package, that model number is printed on the batteries themselves, just nowhere on the external packaging, so not always visible on sealed packaging. Also note that the charger included in this particular SKU package is one of the worse ones, it's timer based, not using an IC to check for negative delta-V peak charge, so if you're digging into specs, check either the alternate chargers available from Panasonic (they do make better ones than this), or pickup batteries without the charger included for less money, and buy a much better Maha charger with individual charging detection for all cells independently.
If you're not going to need the charger, suddenly it's not as great a deal.
The information about the charger is wrong - The BQ-CC17 does use the delta-V method and it does single cell charging. It's quite a good charger for what it costs, much better than the ones that come with Eneloops in Australia
Agree, if it's a smart charger - not timer based.
@mgowen
That review reads like it's been written by one of our own ozbbies ;-)
The IKEA one is $20 too, not sure if it's "Smart" or timed.
looks like a great buy - hope there is more than a few
Just to let you know there is a smiler pack on sale in Costco, Canberra, which I cant remember the price but they do have 8xAA or 8xAAA for $24.95 for people who have membership.
But our Costco might be asking China ones
I believe but i could be wrong that the USA still gets there eneloops made in japan!
Correct according to this http://www.amazon.com/forum/-/Tx3RCXG87QPTOJL/-/ref=ask_dp_l…
Can someone tell me what the difference between eneloop chargers are vs any other charger?
For example I've got an eneloop in my Logitech MX mouse and I just connect the micro USB to charge atm. Should I not?
should be ok, but will take longer time to fully charge I suppose. According to some reviews, the charger comes with this package can charge the batteries individually, unlike some other chargers, you have to put either 2 on the left or 2 on the right. and it also stop charging when the batteries are fully charged (still, according to those reviews I have seen).
Yeah, some chargers have smart tech that can detect when a battery is fully charged and not charge it more or less than that. Supposed to improve the battery life slightly over the long-term.
However, cheap chargers that use a timer or slow trickle chargers like in your mouse won't really hurt an eneloop much, it should still have almost as good battery life for years. You may never notice the difference, honestly.
There was a post on here years back pointing out that just buying new eneloops was often cheaper than the more expensive chargers, IIRC.
Has the deal expired? It's priced at $34USD but after postage being included, it ends up being $59AUD.
I bought this Aussie made Rezap RBC883 years ago, cos it was the dog's balls at the time:
http://users.tpg.com.au/users/p8king/files/rbc883m.pdf
It does every size of battery you can think of - it even does those monstrous Eveready Dolphin batteries, and also 9 volt batteries too. But is it as smart, or as advanced as this deal one?
I got the other Rezap black one, not sure the model number.
Supposedly it does all batteries and has a CPU to calculate all this stuff.
Damn, missed the eneloops again…
Gosh darn it, me too!
The Aldi Smart Charger $19.99 is great, then just buy a 4 pack of their rechargeable lsd AA or AAA for $6.99.
Their batteries work fine also. Then keep an eye out for another Eneloop battery deal later.
will it work with aussie voltage ?
