  • How long is the discount code valid for?

The game's good but I personally find it better on PC than on consoles. But that's just me. Great deal on a great game.

  • Only for the weekend i think.

The coupon code works on the PC version as well which brings the total to only ~$17.54 AUD

  • meh

  • also modern warfare 2 for 360 is $33ish delivered from zavvi if anyone is interested

  • HN sale had Pc version for $10 BUT Extras code expires 30th April!

    • I bought this from Game UK and received it last week, only noticed the DLC codes (stone prisoner and dragon blood armor) today which said they expired April 30. Used them today and they worked.

  • Playing this currently on PC, it's a fantastic RPG and Bioware (the creators) are arguably the best in the business.

Not sure about playing it on console, but it's not too mouse-heavy, so PS3/360 versions would probably be fine. If you like RPGs at all, you'll really like DA:O.

I think Bethesda would have something to say about that.

      • Agreed!

Mass Effect is over hyped, Fallout is the most engaging game I have ever played.

      • both teams are equally best!

i finished dragon age and fallout 3. i love both of them.

I personally insist they be played on pc using k/m, instead of game pad.

    • Playing this currently on the PS3.
Love the game, great RPG with a very interesting story.
Bargain at $25 considering its still pretty pricey in aus

  • I just checked out the PC version of DA at JB yesterday, and it was $104.99.
I'm not really a gamer, but I have friends (women in their 20's and 30's) who are absolutely raving about it. Mainly about some 'Alistair' character.
So thanks, jumping at the chance to pick it up for less than a quarter of the price. (And they've got some great deals on DVD's at that site as well.)

  • I'm playing this game for a second run through on the PC. its an awesome game as you can have many different endings depending on the choices you make throughout the game. There is about 80 hours of gameplay in a single run through, so you definitely get $25 value out of it.

I played a mage the first time and loved it. playing a warrior now and with the different tactics I have to learn now is like playing a whole new game again. Certainly worth the money! Perfect for people who love games like World of Warcraft, but without the online capabilities gives you all the fun without the addiction :)

  • best RPG game ever made.

big call, maybe one of the greatest.

  • Cool. Thanks for the feedback guys. Now I just have to wait for my copy to be deliverred.

  • I've been a big fan of Bethesda's work, but have recently been playing a lot of the Bioware offerings, and Dragon Age was a real gem in my mind. And yes, in this specific case, there is a difference between PC and consoles, you lose some of the functionality on consoles (such as the ability to select your whole party), and it just has a clunkier feel. Nonetheless, great game, with our without the DLCs, can easily last 40-50 hours!

  • The 10% off code doesn't seem to work for me. Can anyone confirm whether it still works or if there is a new coupon code I could use?

  • same here, no discont, but still at $27 it was a good buy.

  • I just wish I had the time to play in depth games like this. I can't recall ever clocking an RPG.

    • Yeah. I got Final Fantasy XIII all excited, but I hardly get the time to complete it.

  • Just got my copy in the mail.
