Mojang's hit sandbox game Minecraft made its Xbox debut on Xbox 360 four years ago today. To celebrate the milestone, Microsoft and Mojang have announced they are giving away DLC to everyone who owns Minecraft on Xbox 360 and Xbox One—but only for a limited time.

  Got the 1st, 2nd and 3rd ones for 360 through the console no problem. The 4th one failed due to no payment options even though it's priced at $0.00. But once I had the first 3 I tried again and it worked!

    All eight worked ok for me. However, I do have PayPal attached to my account so maybe that helped.

      Thanks for the info. I am concerned about having any payment option linked at all. My kids don't play online games and don't do chat but as they are young and we are often in the next room when they're playing I don't want to risk a hefty bill.

  Just added a card and then removed it after I had bought the packs as I was also concerned about the kids and inadvertent DLC purchases.
