  Be careful with Target sales, I had them refuse to honor their advertised price when the cashier thought it was 'too cheap'.
  Was trying to buy a toaster for $20.

      Yep.
      Toaster had a big red SALE sticker on it, stating $40.
      Above it, is a BIG sign that says "Take a further 50% off the ticketed SALE price"

      They refused. Every other item was halved, but not my gift for mum. At least one side of her toaster still works….

        Did that big red SALE sticker say "was $80, now $40". This was the case at my local store and the sign is misleading in its current form suggesting a further 50% off….. the sign is meant to say "reduced prices are marked"

        I got a phone call from state office today after my complaint.
        They said I was right, the store manager was wrong, go and pick up my items.
        Hells yeah.

        Take that cocky manager.
