    Considering godzilla

    • +16

Godzilla is approaching the generator. The generator is losing its power

Godzilla is approaching the generator. The generator is losing its power

Godzilla is approaching the generator. The generator is losing its power

repeat this for the entire 1 hour campaign over & over again as you try to unlock additional characters

I love Godzilla but you'd only be buying it for the roster & not the gameplay which has the exact same goal in every mission - destroying generators

Hardline and BF4 are definitely good prices but I didn't mentioned due to a previous post. I'll add this to the original deal now though.

  • +2

Some nice prices , have most of them or want them in physical form though

  • Cheers for the post, I've been on the look out for Gravity Rush Remastered.

  • +1

Recommend Gravity Rush for that price (or any price really). It's a fantastic game and is a lot easier on the PS4 due to the motion controls being scrapped (especially for the sliding missions which were a nightmare on the Vita).

    • Oh yeah, I was trying to platinum that game on Vita and I literally could not complete some of the challenges. It's always annoyed me that I'm sitting there at 90%. Usually in a game with challenge runs I'll eventually be able to do it given enough tries, but those gravity rush vita controls broke me.
Absolute fantastic game though, with stunning artwork and the cutest story ever. Can not wait for gravity Rush 2, just look at this!

Battlefront is $39 on the PS4 AU store, seems decent value (skip that no single player mode, deal breaker for me)

    • +2

Yeah it's still not low enough for me. When game +season pass is that price I will consider it.

    • +2

would not pay $39 for a piece of garbage

    • +1

I scored a copy for $25 off eBay, sank maybe 10hrs into it and was completely over it. It's a beautiful game but seriously lacks any real depth/content. Borderlands would be the winner content wise, I've heard of many a gamer happily sinking 200+hrs into it

    • It's a nice, brief reprieve from other FPS games. However, it's pretty low on actual game content. I wouldn't call it a piece of garbage, it's a fun enough game that'll keep you entertained for a good few hours, especially if you have mates to play with. It's just a shame that it doesn't have enough to sustain itself.
Definitely agree with the above comment about Borderlands though. If you've never played it before, and enjoy loot-galore games, you'd have an absolute blast.

  • It's times like this I'm very happy to have PS+ Subscription :)!!

It's Wolfentime! (cos i was always too late to the raids on $10ish copies @ big W/target)

Just finished it last week, brilliant game!

  • Some good prices there, thanks OP.

  • +1

    Ps3 list on sale too?

  • Is Watch Dogs worth $15? Been thinking about getting it for ages.

    • +3

Whilst the game has it's flaws (it's a staple of the Ubisoft formula), it's got some ok story going on and you can get 10hrs easy out of it. So for $15, yeah its worth it.

    • +1

Hacking and auto fail stealth missions could have been better, would say worth it for $15 though.

    • Thanks guys

Thanks OP, will probably pick up Heavy Rain / Beyond Two Souls.

    • +1

^This. Was going to buy it from JB for $48 next week. $30 is a lot better.

    • Is this historical low?
      Is it just graphic improvements?

      • Just graphic & framerate improvements (but neither runs at 60fps). Its not a director's cut though, there's no bonus content

  • These seem like really high prices for such old games?

    • +3

Depends on what platform you are on. For the PS4, these prices are great. For PC they are quite ordinary. For instance, for PC you could pick up WOlfenstein TNO for USD$5 and TOB for the same price about a month ago. Watch Dogs was recently USD$9. Sleeping Dogs has been a couple dollars before…

      • I've bought most of these cheaper as physical copies from the Target and Big W sales over the past few months, with the exception of Gravity Rush which I paid $29 on release for. It's still sealed and I have the docket, I'm tempted to return it for store credit and buy the digital version instead.

    • +1

Yeah, I'm a PC gamer who bought a PS3 to try some of the exclusives, and am really struggling to pay $10-$30 for old games when I very rarely pay more than $5.

For many PS3 games, walking into a shop and buying second hand was actually cheaper than the sales LOL.

I might have to wait for real discounts or give up…

      • +2

RPCS3 emulator getting better all the time, for trying out those PS3 exclusives.

        • Excellent suggestion. I suggest others try the same.

  • Wow, there's probably 4 or 5 I'd consider buying (must show constraint). Probably one of the better PSN sales.

  • Agree that Borderlands is a brilliant buy at that price - in fact i just bought it and am half way through a PS4 replay…also it has online and old school split screen coop

  • Hmmm, FC4 or Wolfy New Order..OK Wokfy it is.

  • Any deals on PS+ ?

  • no deals on PS3, forget it….

  • Has anyone played Payday2?

  • +2

Just Cause 3 has ruined me.
I don't think I can go back to games that don't feature a grappling hook..

  • +2

Damnit. Went to buy the Beyond and Rain collection… 70gb. After working how much I pay per GB of internet, it's cheaper to buy it retail…

  • Thanks for this, i bought Beyond 2 souls for AUD $22 ps4, amazing deal. Keep in mind I have 500GB worth of monthly data so downloading is not an issue for me, i have plenty of leftover data.

For those of you with limited data i would advise that you calculate if its worth downloading (cost per GB), retail might end up cheaper for you.

  • Also considering borderlands, never got into it might be a good chance!
