Dig In To Battlefield 4 Dragon's Teeth
A new Battlefield™ is coming later this year, and we're celebrating by keeping the action going in Battlefield 4 and Battlefield Hardline. Over the next few months we'll be giving away previously released expansion packs for both games to anyone playing on Xbox One, Xbox 360, Origin for PC, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 3. There are also new Community Missions and a whole lot more to get excited about. Let's take a look at what's going on right now.

From May 3 to May 10, you can get Battlefield 4 Dragon’s Teeth for free. Engage in intense urban battles across four dense Asian Pacific maps in this infantry-focused expansion.

Get Away With Battlefield Hardline: Robbery

From May 3 to May 10, you can get Battlefield Hardline: Robbery for free. It's all about the Big Score: how to steal it, or how to stop it. Robbery's maps and game mode are designed to let criminal teams plan and execute the perfect heist; or, for law enforcement, to get the crooks in cuffs before they can pull it off.

I don't know about Hardline, but this probably isn't that useful for BF4. The only DLC map servers still running are on rotation for all DLCs. So you need all DLCs to enter. So the only situation where this is useful, is if you bought each DLC individually except for Dragon's Teeth - and to do that you'd have to be insane, seeing as Premium is cheaper to buy, and Dragon's Teeth is the best DLC so if you were going to buy any it should've been that.

But it's nice that they're releasing it for free regardless, and if this helps a single person (I still doubt that) then it's worth it.

I was excited until saw the DLC part :/

    • Well we can claim it now, and wait for a deal on the game.

You don't need to have the base game to add it to your Origin account.

      • Yeah I also got them all on XBone, 360, PC even I don't have XBone.

    In addition:

Battlefield Hardline Premium Edition is FREE to all EA Access members (Xbox Confirmed, PC Unconfirmed).

    • Premium Edition includes ALL DLC (current and future)
    • You will not lose this purchase when your EA Access membership eventually expires (although you may lose the base Battlefield Hardline game if you haven't purchased it)

  • Infantry focused maps yay. Thanks for posting this.

    • Yeah, these are probably my favourite maps because of the reduced vehicle count.

So do we get it free permanently or is it free between May 3rd and 10th.

    • "From May 3 to May 10, you can get Battlefield 4 Dragon’s Teeth for free."

      You can get, not play.

    • +1

Free permanently if redeemed on your account between those dates. Also from this line

Over the next few months we'll be giving away previously released expansion packs for both games

If you stay vigilant you can collect all of the map pack DLCs for free :)

      • Thanks mate, post above yours had me really confused. Speaking in riddles…

  • +1

not free in AU PSN store (yet), will look again tomorrow

  • +1

Can you please add a forward slash from BF4 and BF Hardline? Because the title is confusing as if its saying BF4 is free THEN the DLC.

  • I don't have battlefield premium and get along just fine without it.

  • +1

Legacy Operations, Community Operations as well as Night Operations are free too, maybe they have been for a while - not sure.

They have been free since they were created, and will remain free, but are good maps and well worth adding. There are plenty of Aus servers supporting them.

  • Thanks op diwnloading it now

  • +1

Not free on Australian store. As usual we get everything late or not at all or not discounted.

    • +1

It's late in EU too for Playstation. It'll come (confirmed by Battlefield Oz community manager) - just a short wait.

  • Battlefield 4™ Community Operations and Battlefield 4™ Night Operations also free, not very sure whether they always free or not.

    • They are always free, but are good maps and well worth adding.

  • Xbox users… just checked Xbox Live online to see if I could add to my download queue….

Don't bother unless you have Gold :(.
    Not 'free' unless you 'pay'.

  • Thanks to OP for posting this giveaway here. I don't necessarily agree with him that this won't be useful to get for BF4 players who have the base game only. If enough people get this free DLC this week, I imagine there will servers supporting it (and/or just the base game) in the rotation permanently in Australia, just as there are for the other free DLC maps that have been released.

    • I mean I'll be happy if people find it useful, I was just doubtful based on the server situation I've noticed on PC.

    • +1

Well the problem is that most servers are rotating maps so to play this you need all the premium dlc maps or else the server won't let you in… You can always try overseas server's

  • just got Dragon's Teeth for PC/Origin, however, Origin does not seem to want to download……. (or it is already "hidden" inside previous updates?)

  • It finally went up on PSN overnight. Totally worth the download - it's the pick of the DLC litter.

Well if you read the text of the deal that you yourself have posted:

Over the next few months we'll be giving away previously released expansion packs for both games to anyone playing on Xbox One, Xbox 360, Origin for PC, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 3

If you keep an eye out you will be able to grab all of the DLC maps for free :)

    • Notice they carefully didn't say 'all'. This is the company that still, to this day, has not had a sale on their god-awful Bioware point system. Colour me doubtful.

      • Well keep in mind they run the "on the house" promotion where they give you free games, some of which have been pretty great like Battlefield 3, Dragon Age Origins. They also produced a number of free DLC for Battlefield 4. This is the same company who has made all the DLC map packs for Titanfall free which essentially gives an upgrade from all Standard editions to the Deluxe Season Pass edition.

I would be surprised if they don't do all of the map packs since there isn't that many and it's good life support for BF4 while also great essentially free promotion for Battlefield 5.

  • Damn it i missed it
