im pretty sure if you wait a few weeks for LTS/fluidtek to get active again, it'll drop to like ~160 delivered

    • +1

Yeah don't think they can beat LTS :)

      • +1

the price is decent just that the delivery kills it…. come on 14 dollars

    • -2

come on, you should compare current price, not few weeks early or later

    • ah not a few weeks, just one day and fluidtek trumps it and LTS is going to have it for $154 delivered, cheaper than i expected (~$160)

  • Yep I'll be waiting for something similar to LTS last deal on these …
    Logitech g19 (x2) for $295 Delivered

  • Regardless of what might come at some unknown point in the future, this is the best price right now. So +1.

  • good price but i want m950 more

      two words valid reason

Stupid comment and -ve. This is capitalism, if there is a demand there will be a supply.

I wish I could neg you many, many times over. What a douchey thing to neg a deal for - because you don't want the product and feel that it exceeds your requirements? Ugh.

      • Don't worry, i helped by negging him for you ;)

        • +1

he hasnt broken the neg record though :P

You don't need to wait few days or weeks for a better deal from Fluidtek, it's on NOW. http://www.fluidtek.com.au/ $145.

EDIT: Sorry, it appears they don't offer delivery. However, they did say that a similar deal will be available soon on logitechshop.com.au for $145 + $9 delivery Australia wide! I'm guessing it'll be right after their site finishes renovating.

  • Duly noted….in hindsight…i should have just left the comment, not the negative vote.

    It's capitalism….sure…but last time i checked, it's also a democracy.

Actually i happened to need to buy a keyboard and i mean TODAY….but when i went through each of the fancy functions on the logitech website i was going..

does this function have any real use? nope..nope…crap…useless…

Maybe if you're made of money, sure go for this…

Anybody looking for something that isn't crap and won't cost a fortune, buy a Logitech Wave keyboard like i did for $38. I got it corded intentionally for gaming. It works great.

A real gamer would put it towards an upgrade. People should consider any purchase on it's merit and functionality….last time i checked this was "ozbargain"….not "ozslighlylessoverpricedbling"

Again…no negative vote…just voicing my opinion..

    • I found that the G series keyboards are pretty durable compared to the ones I've used.
I must've gone through about 5 keyboards in a few years because they keep breaking.

Not broken in half, but things like the buttons become non-responsive, fell off, got loose or the cord tore.
Then I got a G15 for $100 about 5 years back and I've stuck with it ever since. The buttons feel as good as new.

I won't be buying a new keyboard until this breaks. Even if it does, I'll be buying a similar priced keyboard.
I'm a gamer and I find the volume controls/LCD is bloody helpful.

      • +1

Hi leonheart, I'm a gamer too, but i just don't see the use for it. looking at the LCD screen means taking your eyes off the screen and that could be costly. i thought games are built so that all the relavant information is already displayed onscreen. that's why i thought of the LCD screen as a useless gimmick…

could you explain how you use the LCD screen to help you in gaming?

Volume controls are a must…i agree. But you can get that on any multimedia keyboard…the Logitech Wave has all that.

btw, i have actually tried out one of these fancy keyboards with the lcd at a friends house…didn't impress me.

        What am i missing here?

        • *2

my keyboard is a good 5 years old, has one of those boxes with wires that connects via USB or PS2
then wireless to the kboard and mouse, and i bought that referb.. haven't seen the need to upgrade but can see the benifit of a good system as some of the first ones where very limited in range or weren't sensitive.

what makes the ones with an LCD so good?

i think some have macro programs so you can hit one key and do a few things…

          • @wisc: Yeah that's the other thing….i didn't see how macros would be useful, when most games allow you to map your own keys on a normal keyboard anyway.

Macros have been useful on the mouse though…like having a button for melee.

I'm not big on wireless…i prefer everything wired for minimizing latency while gaming.

            • @abchakraborty: lol… i don't think you'd notice the latency of a wireless keyboard and mouse….

              • @wisc: heh..true…but hey…every ms counts if you play any FPS…people even consider the 5-8ms input lag of most lcd's vs CRT monitors having 0.

It's usually who can react and start shooting first that normally determines the victor in FPS games like Modern warfare.
