Only 720P for over $100 is a bit expansive. 1080P is more desirable for this pricec.

    Also store in title please

      Not really..
Unless you're buying a Chinese Camera with questionable sensor capabilities, 720p for about $100 is cheap for a 720p IR camera with PTZ, 2 way audio and inbuilt motion detection.
Try to find a better price on a brand name unit with similar features.
I actually think you'll struggle to find a Chinese knockoff with these features for this price!

OP do you know if you HAVE to use the Motorola App, or is the camera compatible with 3rd party (and likely better) apps?

  • Does it have an sd card slot to record to sd? Or is cloud recording the only option?

  • Reviews are quite poor, any other suggestions?

    • The good ol' Foscams aren't bad. $125 gets you Wireless, 720p, Pan & Tilt, 2-way Audio plus SD Card capabilities: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Foscam-FI9821W-Black-HD-720P-H-26…

I've bought quite a few Foscam cameras from Everest-Tek including indoor & outdoor, low & high res and they've all been perfect! 99.9% sure they're genuine too. After the initial setup they just seem to happily sit on 24/7 and do exactly what they're designed to do. Set & forget.

  • I do not recommend Foscam since they have changed their business model. I have been forced to use their paid server in China.

    • Paid server? What for? I just access mine direct via IP either within my home network or port forwarded to the outside world. I have two of the 'important' cameras feeding into Surveillance Station (a free plugin to Synology OS) and give each camera 500Gb of storage on my NAS which works out to be about a months worth at 720p.

  • I have this camera, purchased with the parent monitor unit. The bad reviews are pretty accurate - but I think it's the parent unit that is the problem, more than the camera.
I'm actually considering purchasing one from this deal so that I can have a camera in each child's room, with only one parent unit required. At the moment we are using an additional audio-only monitor for our second child… but we are getting used to having the video feed. It would also be nice not to have two 'parent' units on the go all the time. So having invested $200 in the problematic Motorola already, throwing another hundred at it for a second camera feels a bit silly but also quite tempting!
For recording - when you have the parent unit, you can record onto SD card. There is no SD slot on the camera itself.
