I have the SRS-X3 bought for $74 during one of Dick's rare bargains. An amazing speaker for the price.

  Very happy with my SRS-X3 also but I find it sounds best up to 3/4 volume only, any higher and it gets louder but the sound balance drops off (bass becomes less pronounced, probably to protect the speaker and/or conserve battery). Also, battery life is only about 4 hours, but yeah, it was a bargain for $74.

Seems a bit better than the SRS-X3, but probably not worth an upgrade. Maybe if it had the UE Boom's link up feature.
