I owned this one. Not amazing. Broken down after a few mths. The monitor got funny.

    • Did you get a refund or got a new one with warranty?

    Oh cool.. a fap meter..

It doesn't have great reviews. The general response is that the step counter is extremely inaccurate. Many people have pointed out that they can sometimes go for a long walk and register no steps at all.

Obviously it will be able to accurately measure your sleep using a microphone. Being unconscious the user will clearly be able to assess this very well!

    get a mi band 1s.
Have one and it's great on battery life, 1 charge usually lasts 20-30 days,
    Accurate steps monitoring.
Sleep monitoring is a bit hit and miss with the data.
It could do with a watch function.
overall - good price - got mine on everybuying for ~$25.
There's one on sale now, https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/241372

Not sure how accurate is, as every time I move my arm around while sitting down, it registers steps. I can get several hundred steps just from relaxing in my chair for a while. Bonus!

      • My 1S is the same. I slept for 8 hours and it only registered 6. I sat down and watch TV it will register i took 500 steps. HRM is ok but won't work with any Fitness apps. But the alert function is great I never missed a call or message now.

        • Sounds like you were flapping your hands around when you were using the remote lol

Why not wait for the newer one with the screen to be announced?

Cheers for that, would've bought one without knowing that!

I've the original Mi Band and I just mainly want something similar but with a clock on it, hence why I avoided the 1S.

Hopefully the 2 will be well priced.

        • That's generally Xiaomi's business model, and the rumour mill is indicating that it'll be the same price as the 1s, though we all know how accurate Mr. Mill is. Regardless though, it's going to be as cheap as Xiaomi can sell it for and still turn a profit.

    • Got one, died three weeks later, quite an average accuracy.

My friend has one of these. Can't get it to tell the correct time. No matter what he does.

  • How is this band comparing to the Vivosmart? Is the clock display all the time or only when you tap it?

  • You should change the price to $60.95 since Click&Collect doesn't seem to be available anywhere.

    • Available in Bondi, NSW
      Noarlunga SA
      Cambridge park TAS

      And more…..,

  • Is this the same model used in the Milo one. Might as well get the milo one and get a free small tin of milo for $40

neg the deal, not the product

      • +14

Deal is not good if the product is garbage.

      • +6

in all fairness I think its a fair (very good) comment… im looking for something like this… these comments are pretty valuable.

        neg is debatable.

Went into a store, sales guy saw there was no stock … manager came buy and tried to convince me to spend $149 to get the Talkband B2 … told them I don't need the fancy features, he dropped the price to $99, told him I wanted only a basic band, he dropped the price to $79. All within less than 2 minutes discussing the item.

FWIW - i have a Mi band 1S that stopped working a few days ago, so will most likely get a replacement or set the Mi band 2. The battery lasting a month is super useful.

    • Got one, took it home, was an actual wtf moment where the charger was. The middle LED's are dark/not working. Returning it tomorrow and looks like they're all out of stock from where I got it from. Do you have a copy of the reciept for the B2 just so I can tell them I want the B2 for $79

  • I got the B2, but a few weeks later changed to an Android Wear watch. The Android Wear suited me better to see my text messages as they came in, etc.

On a side note, If anyone wants the B2 I am happy to send it to you for $79. It's in extremely good condition, comes in the original box and all.

  • I have a B1, used it for two weeks, then got an LG G Watch at Harvey Norman (remember that $88 deal??).

I personally found the B1 to be very inaccurate and if you have small wrists (esp. Children or Ladies) quite uncomfortable.

$25 if anyone wants it. Literally only used two weeks and I still have the box for it.

Oh, I did really like the bluetooth earpiece function. That worked very well and was cool to be able to take the call by simply unclipping the earpiece from the device.
