      • Same, But the amounts normally change after a few days. Glad that I held off on the Tinydeal deal yesterday.

        • +2

tinydeal one is simple package version and ours is original package version :)

        • @everbuying: Even better, Thanks Rep :)

  • It is cheap, and does things cheaply, heart rate hardly accurate or work for me. Dont expect too much from this.

    • does the HR work with other sports or fitness apps? from what i've researched online it doesn't. for $20 i don't mind it being inaccurate but want to use it with my wahoo or runkeeper apps!

      • I actually tested this yesterday, I found its more or less the same readings as the treadmill I have at the gym at the stage I was at I was 104bpm on the treadmill and on the miband I was 101bpm

    • I actually posted about this yesterday: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/comment/3579522/redir

I use a Polar H7 chest strap to get the HR when I work out and those are supposed to be very accurate. Today I compared the continuous H7 HR readings against the instant Mi Band 1s readings (using the free Mi Fit app) and found them to be within 10% while warming up (ie H7-96bpm vs 1S-106bpm)and pretty much spot-on during intensive workout (ie H7-144bpm vs 1S-145bpm). I haven't done a comparison of the HR while at rest but I just did a reading on the 1S-76bpm which sounds about right.

  • I use Mi Band Notify and Fitness (paid upgrade to pro for a couple of bucks). You can set continuous monitoring and it will graph it for you. You can easily remove the odd obvious incorrect reading to tidy up your graph. Interface is clunky but goes OK for monitoring one run/exercise session at a time.

If anyone knows of a better app offering continuous monitoring and graphing please let me know.

    • Mi Band Tools :)

Much better App. Exports readings to Google Fit or you can export the data very easily. Plus it has bar graphs built in.

      • Awesome, will try. Thanks!

  • Grabbed one for $17.95 using the mobile website.

    Cheers OP!

  • Always want to buy a Xiaomi Mi Band, still waiting for the cheapest price.

    • AUD 17.95 is a reasonable price. Go for it ;)

  • How's their shipping time? Do we expect at least 4 weeks?

  • How's the sleep tracking on these? As good as the more expensive brands?

  • How does the sleep tracking go? I'm interested in this for that reason. Anyone have feedback?

    • +1

I have used it for about a month now.

Its hard to tell how 'accurate' it is but the time i gone to sleep and woken up is spot on. How does it compare to the competition I would say its on par or better. If you want something next level I would assume only the Microsoft band at $300+ would be more accurate.

      • Sounds good! I'm quite happy with "reasonably good". I'm in.

  • When does this deal expire ?

    • Code will expired at 2016-04-30 18:00:02

  • Is there a Mi Band 2? Done some googling.. doesn't seem like there's anything but some places are selling supposedly a Mi Band 2..

Also for those that have used this, do you find that your wrist gets sweaty during warmer weather?

    • +2

Differences between Xiaomi 1 and Xiaomi 2:
      Xiaomi 2 with TPSiV band but Xiaomi 1 with Rubber band;

Looks like it's just the original with a different band material.

  • How can I redeem the EB code?

  • genuine question: how does this compare to the same price(special price ending soon) @ gearbest? any difference?
    http://www.gearbest.com/smart-wristband/pp_263275.html

  • Rep, when does this code/deal expire?

    • +2

I'm not sure. If you want to buy later even after code expire then let me know I will get you that for same price.

  • Has anyone received their bands yet?

    • No. Are you tracking yours ?

My shipment is showing in Singapore which is strange.

      • Yeh. Mine seems to have stopped there as well. Perhaps their shipping service only tracks the item until it leaves for its destination? My item hasn't had a status update since 5/4.

        • Put the tracking here http://webtrack.dhlglobalmail.com/ and it should show you more details. On the right side you'll find the Delivery by Postal provider which I assume would be Auspost tracking number. The Auspost tracking should be active once it hits Australia and the package is scanned by Auspost.

        • @Sleepy24seven:
Thanks for the advice. Item left Singapore 16 days ago so, unless it's on a ferry, I think I might have some issues.

Has anyone else received theirs yet?

        • @sinners007: Did you end up receiving yours? Mine hasn't arrived and tracking shows last activity is in Singapore April 9.

        • @xL:
Yes I did … Last week … My tracking never updated …

    • I just got mine today, 80% sure I ordered from here. Oddly enough though, it had the ACT as the state/territory instead of NSW and the packaging said it originated in Germany.

      • I received mine today and bought it the day of OP's post. Cheers OP!

        • Got mine today too!
Bought it on day of OP's post.
