Not to mention the plastic surrounding the plug is very thin and susceptible to breaking.
Not saying these are either - but give me slow but bullet-proof and long lasting anyday.
Has it almost finished copying that video? How many more years, you reckon before it finishes?
i dread to think how many hours it would take to fill this USB.
brrrrrInstall a UPS to be safe :)
FUTU_Online from eBay sells a USB 3.0 Samsung Fit 32Gb for $14. Free shipping. I got this within 3 working days of ordering.
Sincerity Trading (AU seller is selling the below)
Sandisk ULTRA for $13.59 shippedAnd international seller:
USB 3.0 32GB Sandisk ULTRA Fit for $11 (but shipping from HK)So I don't see how this such a great bargain, mainly save $4 but you have no USB 3.0 and the I/O is slow-arse
Yeah, that's a great deal! I also got mine in 3 days.
Looking at a 16GB or more USB just for a backup of my brand new Dell Laptop, would that Samsung for $14 do the trick?
Had bad experience with Sincerity Trading and a HOT Sandisk Ultra - it got so hot Windows keeps rejecting it after plugging in more than 5 seconds. Had no issue with other USBs, just the Ultra. Sincerity trading gave me a hard time and I had to ask ebay to step in to get refund.
people still buying usb, land fill :)
Tell us, enlightened one, what do you use?
A brain
I have't used one in 10 years.
I got portable HD which I used for raspberry PI and few mirsoSDs for phone and camera.
MicroSD with USB adapter would be more versatile than USB a stick. No one cares.
USB 2.0 drives over 8GB should be outlawed.
These things are painfully slow, writing at about 8MBps.
This drive is not a bargain. This drive is torture!
I get 1-2MBs only.
My Samsung USB drive from 2009 does close to 20MB/s. I just find it hard to believe that a reputable brand like Sandisk would be selling such a slow drive in this day and age.
It's their budget model, you gotta cover the whole market. Sandisk also has Ultra and Extreme if you want fast speed.
@zKskita: Even for a budget model, 3-4MB/s write speeds is way too slow.
@zKskita:
its not budget model, its POS model@millusions: Took me a while to realise what POS stood for.
Four of these is 128gb for $32. Regardless of speed, probably the best $/GB value in a USB
These guys are pathetic. Ordered couple of this in the previous deal for C&C from Auburn store on 14/04/16. Order status is still showing IN PREPARATION !!! Ridiculous…
yea. they are!
i ordered some Artic Silver, few days later i log in it says ORDER FINALISED, i never got my artic silver.
im just glad others are catching up on MSY prices cuz MSY are sooo dumb
This is seriously one of the worst USBs I have ever owned. The average speed burns down to less than 1MB/s. I know this is cheap, but do not buy this if you value your sanity.
One of the slowest USB's money can buy for Write speeds. That said I have a 4GB version from many years ago still going strong.
Very slow.
