  • Aliexpress are known for fake product. Good deal if it's real.

Total Output:5V/12A, mean each port is 1.2A, or 2.4A when not all port in use.
NOTE: this does NOT support Quick Charge 1.0 or 2.0.

    • yes, aliexpress is just like ebay in that there are fakes. This store has been confirmed as the Anker representative store on Aliexpress. Plus this store has a lot of positive feedback.

Always look for lots of feedback. and always check out the negative feedback left for sellers. Sometimes negative feedback is just "took 2 months to arrive" which happens - especially to countries in the grip of civil disputes. if the negative feedback is something like "fake item, tested with H2Testw and it's 3.7gb and class 2" then avoid. - be smart.

the great item at a low price from a seller with very little feedback is likely to be fake. (though they just could be starting out).

    • Aliexpress are known for fake product. Good deal if it's real.

So are the markets, large retail stores like Target, ebay, Amazon sellers and the list goes on.

  • If only they all supported quickcharge 2.0.

Get it right noob, it's 1k deal (1605th post). Big congrats though - thanks for your efforts in posting quality deals altomic

  • Don't mean to knock this post but why would you need 10 USB ports? I barely use two of the six on my desktop.

Again, I'm not having a go at the deal, I'm just curious as to people's usage of so many ports.

people have lots of gadgets to charge haah

      • I guess a house full of phones, fit bands and tablets might fill it up.

    • Well, my charging station at home is host at different times of the day and night to 2 Android tablets, an iPad, four Android phones, a Fitbit and a battery pack.

        Well there you go.

      • are they all your devices, or the whole family ?
must be a nuisance when a phone rings in the room where they are being charged …… who gets up to answer one of the 4 phones ?

who gets up to answer one of the 4 phones ?

Whoever owns up to the ringtone

if you have teenage kids + your own phone, tablet, etc

maybe at a work place and used as a general charging hub.

    • yeah ….. what devices still charge at 1amp …… I've got 5 port charger ….. does 2.1 amps on all ports all the time ……. the 10 ports is a gimmick at 1 amp ……

    • we've got 2 of the tronsmart 5 port 90W chargers …… also with these chargers check if it comes with AU power cord or an US / EU power cord and travel adapter.

How silly am I if I'm worrying that if all 10 devices were being charged at the same time, it'd overload the switch? Note that I have no electrical engineering background.

    • +1

      It won't

      • Thank you for your straight up affirmation

    • -1

no you just wake up in the morning and all devices are only partially charged.

      • 1.2A is enough to charge any device overnight - just is not enough to charge it if you are using it heavily. eg Ipad while gaming on 1.2A charger the power actually goes down (although very slowly)

    • Your power outlet is rated to supply 10Amps (approx 2400 Watts). This only draws 60 Watts max (plus a bit for inefficiency) so you could in fact grab a bunch of power boards and plug 40 of these in and charge 400 devices before the power point is overloaded. It will be fine.

  • Hmm, Macfixit is asking for $109 for this product, https://www.macfixit.com.au/anker-powerport-10-60w-10-port-u…,

To buy from Ali or not…

I've made 300+ transactions through aliexpress. I made 2 tonight. I have no hesitation in recommending aliexpress. as long as you realise that postage can take 3-6 weeks (unless you pay more for expedited shipping) and to be smart with the seller - that is -if they have no feedback and the price is too good then definitely fake.

$109 or $39. hmmm, yeah. LOL

    • A lot of websites like to pretend that Anker is an American brand so that they can charge a premium. They're actually Chinese and based out of Shenzhen ;)

      • exactly. most brands now are chinese manufactured. -inexpensive labour. - which will shift to Africa in the next 20 years.

  • I had one, 3 ports stop working after 2 months, don't buy it.

    • Where did you purchase it from?

    • +1

yeah 1 failure from tens or hundreds of thousands of units is totally unacceptable, I will definitely avoid, thanks…

      • Being sarcastic here, I see…

  • A lot of people here bought from that seller before.
Have they checked if it is a genuine one?

  • I got two of these a couple weeks ago and it's working as advertised. Charges really fast. All the ports appear to work, although I haven't tried charging all 6 at the same time for prolonged use yet. The build quality feels and looks as good as it gets. Based on my short experience with it so far, I'd recommend it.

I have one on my desk at work, where I have several test phones to charge at once, and I keep on inside the storage compartment in the lounge at home so my fiance and I can charge our phones really fast at the same time, and other people can charge their phones in there when we have friends over.

  • Anyone received their order yet?

    • Just received mine today. Pretty genuine by the looks. Now threw 4 apple USB chargers on the side. My table never looked that neat and tidy before.
