Surprisingly very good quality. I went back to buy another one from a shop in HK earlier this year.

  I've got one too. Very rigid. Can easily support an SLR. It's a giant selphie stick, not a monopod. A monopod has a grip at the top near the mount and a rubber or metal stopper at the narrow end (bottom).

    I bought an extra screw on tripod legs to fit at the end of it to split it open and becomes like a monopod that way. That was another 10 bucks but worth it.
