  I'd suggest anyone looking at the door arch style chin-up bars make sure the the archway trims are well secured.
  I used one of these for a couple of years and had to reinforce the trims as the weight over time loosened them.
  As a result I had to do a bit of putty and paint work.
  I'm 76kg.
  I wouldn't use one in a rental.

    Agreed, bought a cheapie from Big W, tried it on teh door and the doro frame creaked under my weight (93kg)

    Probably only good to use if you are aroudn 50kg!!

    Probably better off heading to the exercise park.
