  Random question..

  Anyone know why manufacturers put the freezer on top (unless you get an "upside down" model)?

  I go into the fridge 10 times more often than the freezer, so prefer the most often used part to be at higher so more convenient to reach.

  Maybe it's so younger children can access the fridge part?

    I think this is just a design decision by the manufacturers. They would conduct R&D and choose the design that would sell the best, I presume!
