  • the 13 cycle refresh is a nice bonus …. people see seem to look at clock rate not refresh ….. I got the kingston hyper X 2133 from MSY for $105 and mine is only 14 cycles, these are 13 cycles and cheaper if people can wait for the post man.

        You can look it up easy, there are 1000s of articles out there. "Cas latency vs frequency" will get you there. Basically "access time" (the thing that actually matters) is a function of Cas latency and frequency so having a high frequency with a high cas latency might give you a worse access time than low cas latency and low frequency. With DDR4, a speed of 2133 is fine especially if you are not overclocking (or have a H170 or lower board) so you want to find the lowest cas latency possible for the best performance. If you are overclocking you probably want higher frequency (3000+) and a cas latency of <16.
