      Yes, when you are driving a car without GPS, then you may use your phone for navigation, you can place your phone on it,no need to pick it up from time to time.

      plus, due to the magnetic holder, you don;t need to worry about you cellphone's size. Any other goods you can get one and find them out :)

      Not exactly, magnets does some effect on screen in a very long time close touch, but no one will put their phone on the magnet for long period right?

      No worries, you can enclose the magnet sheet in your case, unless your case is as thick as a brick.
