I bought one of these the other day because I thought it was pretty good value. LG have advised me that it uses an 1920x1080 IPS panel.

I've got mine connected to a Radeon 5850 via HDMI.

  at 26" full hd is almost pointless unless your sitting ontop of it

    Considering the IPS panel, the display would double very well as a monitor. The picture quality would suit photographers and graphic artists quite well, and for them higher resolution = more real estate.

  Is LG any good? Considering a 42" especially it is 3 years warranty.

  Bought one from BL Eastwood for $565 cash. Terrific picture wth a 3 year warranty. Sound from the speakers may not be sufficient for some. Frame looks elegant and stylish.
