  • The sim swap trick won't work?

    Thanks EC

    • Some people are seriously sick in the head. I thank the OP for the deal and get negged? Get lost.

Who knows. That's the problem with comment voting - not open like deal voting.

I am curious, though. Thanks would suggest good deal. But no +Vote?

In case you didn't know, OP is infamous for posting Amaysim deals and hoarding all the referrals.

        • No referral with these deals, though.

        • @Utopian: maybe people don't like thanks given out for something they don't consider a deal?

        • @Utopian: Actually, referrals have been axed!

Hi Utopian, refer a friend is getting a makeover.
So the $10 free credit thing isn’t happening right now.
But if you already think amaysim is awesome, why not share us with your friends anyway? Come on, save your pals the hassle of other telcos and share simple with them today.

        • what's the infamy about posting most of the amaysim deals first? thats conscientiously relaying deals to everyone.

was there deliberately coercion of people to get the referral bonus? if you're the first person to post, whats wrong with putting your referral link?

i understand the amount of referral credit must be huge, in that case maybe using someone else's referral credit on a rotational basis would have been great. for example, I saw a friend got free coffee because of a promotion from the 3 guys before her (buy 3, get 1 free). I want to ask if anyone would come to the pay it forward conclusion, "since I got my coffee, I should find 2 more people so 2 additional people can get their coffee?"

Those 2 people only need to find 1 more person, then 3 additional people get their coffees. Then, those 3 can get 4 people their coffees. After 20 iterations, there are 20 free coffees, but 80 people that learned about spreading forward good honest helpful intention.

Anyone got any tips about a good mobile provider? i'm with amaysim atm but they'll soon charge us by period of 28 days which i find ridiculous.

    • vaya still has plans per month. good value for money but slightly dodgy customer service.

      • -2

        Slightly? lol

    • Optus $40/month with 10GB data.

$30/month if you have a Broadband service with them already (I think it ends today?)

    • iiNet (Optus) are surprisingly competitive lately.

      $20/mo for 2GB with $400 of included value (calls/SMS).

      https://www.iinet.net.au/mobile/

TPG (Vodafone) has 1.5GB plan with a 6 month introductory price of $10/mo (normally $20/mo). The gotcha is the excess data rate of 10c/MB which is insane so you need to be careful not to go over.

  • Lights users = Vaya, heavy users = optus or telstra. ( I used to use virgin, Tpg, Vodafone, Amaysim, telstra in a past 12 mths). Currently with optus and vaya.

No. Please, please don't suggest Vaya.
