  • They have what looks like exactly the same thing as KMart for $30, but with fewer accessories.

    • +1

      link?

    • Looks like the KMART site is down? Did you happen to have the name and specs for their blender - most are 250W where as the Ezi Bullet is 350W motor which is quite an integral part of a blender and has an impact on quality and cost.

      • KMART Site is back up but I can't find anything in the style of the bullet blender?

      • +1

I checked and you're right. The "Homemaker mini blender" is only like 230W.

      • Stainless Steel Blender $29 @ Kmart - 500W motor since you're comparison is based on watts, How about this?

        • Hello Zeckem,

That is a different product not the multi-accessory bullet style blender. Although at that price if you were looking for a cheap standard blender then that is also a good deal. I prefer a bit more grunt in my big blender though (something over 1000w) as I would be using it for more heavy duty stuff.

        • @pmason78: could you get us a deal on a 500W multi-accessory bullet style blender? most are 250-350W which is just not powerful enough.

        • +1

@zeckem: Hello Zeckem, I will speak with a few suppliers I work with and if I can get hold of anything I'll let you know.

  • See how there's a dozen spare plastic o-ring type things? They're included because these blenders chew up the rings which you're either lucky enough to notice during blending (then you have to replace it) or you don't notice and while drinking your delicious smoothie you choke down a wad of diced up plastic.

    • Bullet blenders are typically used multiple times per day and are constantly taken apart for cleaning and reassembly. They are designed for speed and ease.

The Ezi Bullet design caters for a blend, twist, and go functionality and allows for easy cleaning with pop out blades and seals. Due to this type of regular wear and tear the seals may need replacing occasionally so they are sold with replacement seals. You certainly shouldn't see any issues with lumps of "rubber" (which is the material the seals are made of) in your smoothies.

The blender also comes with a 12 month warranty.

      • What happens when I use all my seals? Are they covered under warranty?

        • Hello, I checked with the customer service department regarding this question. They told me that there are enough seals included to support typical usage for over 2 years; if in the event all the seals require replacing and you are within the warranty period then please contact the customer support department. I sourced a snippet from the warranty statement for you:

"Should your appliance develop any malfunction during the warranty period due to faulty

materials or manufacture, the supplier (at their discretion) will refund, repair or exchange the

product free of charge with regards to the terms of this warranty and subject to the Australian

          Consumer Law.

Note: you may be asked to return the product to the supplier for assessment."

I think you will find that the team at My Discount Store are very fair and reasonable, they care about their customers and want to make sure they are happy with their products. Make sure you retain the warranty slip/booklet that comes with your item.
