    I never understood when people say stuff like this "Southern Mountains Very sweet coffee. Full of toffee, caramel, cherry & treacle flavours. Juicy body & acidity with a maple syrup finish." when I drink coffee It never tastes anything like those things lol

      You can taste a lot with cold brew, but these descriptions are a bit much.

      It's kind of like the descriptions on wines. You either get it or you don't based on how you've trained your palate. Unfortunately with coffee, the brew method makes it even harder to be consistent in tasting those notes (as opposed to wine which is open, pour and drink!)

        It's very subtle. I usually know if it's good from the type of high I get from the caffeine.

      What exactly is a "ziplock test" ?

      edit: If it means is it fresh, is it freshly roasted? Then yes I've done one and two years into the relationship i'm still happy with my deal.
