Just filled up the car and the lady behind the counter asks if you would like a free newspaper.(Of Course I say yes) You can choose Herald Sun or a local daily regional newspaper depending on your location and what newspapers they stock. Apparently available until the end of the month with any fuel purchase of $40 or more

    It's not really free if their fuel price is higher than other petrol stations…

    • Price was 6cents a litre cheaper than Coles express and same price as independents close by. I had 4cents discount voucher so the price for me was 4cents less than what the independents were charging. Of course you should check your local fuel prices to make sure you are getting the best deal.

        The other week, our local Woolies one was over 20 cents more per litre than the BP around the corner…

  • I was offered the Herald Sun or the Australian on this, so its possibly a partnership with newscorp

  • So you have to spend over $40 to get this $2 or so newspaper "bargain". No thanks.

    Wow spend $40 and get free toilet paper with print on it.

  • It's available in New South Wales as well . You can choose between the Daily Telegraph or the Australian although the cashier did not mention it there was a sign that said free newspaper with purchase of $40 or more of petrol.

  • Last week filled $42+ petrol I was offered a copy of Sunday Courier Mail. I am in Brisbane.
