[MEL] International Street Food Festival - 'Free' ($5.95 Admin Fee) @ PromoTix [Free Membership Req'd]

60

The International Street Food Festival (ISFF) is on this weekend in St Kilda and we've got FREE TICKETS for our Members and Newsletter Subscribers!

Redeem up to 6 'Free' Adult Passes - while stocks last!

  • It seems there are three buttons to buy tickets, the first button is marked as sold out, but it was probably for the $8 tickets.
  • $5.95 admin fee - GREEN BUTTON - applies for free members
  • $2.95 admin fee - BLUE BUTTON - for subscribed members ($35/y manual renewal)

Value: ~$8 per ticket. (Based on PromoTix's normal discounted price).

Note: It's a good time of year to pay for PromoTix membership ($35/y) because there are a lot of Melbourne International Comedy Festival (MICF) tickets available for the subscription fee + admin fee(s).

  • Whomever reported sold out: Only the first 'button' is sold out.
Do the other two require membership? If so I just need to remove the ? in the title.

    • The green button means free members can obtain it, the blue button means paid members only ($35/year).

So anyone can grab it now using the second green button (need to sign up and login as a free member only), just need to pay the $5.95 admin fee in PayPal which appears a set fee regardless of if you pick 1 or 6 tickets.

  • If membership is required you should post that cost in the title as well…

Don't like how they started to charge admin fees. $6 admin fee, no thanks. They used to be good in the past.

    • They rebranded from FreeTix to PromoTix recently.
Last year's free comedy festival tickets were amazing.
It definitely gained them a potential customer base for this year/this rebranding.

  • Thanks OP just grabbed 6 tickets. They go for about 18 bucks on their official website.

  • Why does it cost money for entry?! And then we have to pay money for the food. Surely they can make money from selling the food that we want to try.

Chadstone Shopping Centre has the food vans thingy. free entry too.
