Unfortunately I don't have any gems, but am posting anyway and am looking at what I want to buy to get 5 gems. I'm not sure if this has card drops or how many. If someone could confirm it would be appreciated.

About This Game
Men of War: Assault Squad features a completely new cooperative skirmish game mode with access to five different nations (Russia, Germany, USA, Commonwealth and, for the first time ever in the Men of War series, Japan) as well as increased realism and accessibility.
Players can get behind the controls of a tank to smash through obstacles, crush soldiers under their tracks and fire high-explosive shells at enemy emplacements, they can even take control of individual soldiers as they fight. As in previous games in the series, Men of War: Assault Squad includes the unique "direct control" feature which enables players to be in command of any unit using the WASD controls, rather than pointing and clicking.

Important Note:
Men of War Assault Squad is affected by the GameSpy shutdown on the 31st of May. You can continue to play the game through LAN, DirectIP and GameRanger. If you want to make use of full Steamworks integration for multiplayer we recommend to choose Men of War: Assault Squad 2, which includes all content of the first part and much more.

Because of ^^ this ^^, imo the game is not worth $9.99 but if you have 5 gems and don't have the game, definitely worth getting.

    HRK give out a lot of free steam games. As I said in the post, this is a premium giveway which requires you to have 5 gems, easily obtained if you have made a purchase from HRK before.

    In some ways it is similar to your post for a Free game when you buy a keyboard. So tell me how was that a free game when you needed to buy a keyboard?

      The 'freebie' checkbox should only be checked if there are no strings attached to obtain the free item. In this case, prior purchases are required so it's not available to all. Freebie tag has been removed.

        No problem Axelstrife. I had no intention to mislead anyone and made it clear in the post that 5 gems were required. Glad the mods have cleared it up.

        I want this game too but don't have gems.

        I just checked and the cheapest way I can see to get gems is to buy a 5 game bundle for $1.50 which gives out 5 gems.

  Great game though, highly recommended. I probably spent more than 100 hours on this game.
