I was gonna buy this, but when I headed to the store there was no demo for me to try. only the JBL speakers have demo, I tried flip3, surprisingly the sound is so damn good. Then i gave up Sony and bought JBL flip3
The JBL flip 3's are great cos you can connect multiple JBL speakers to it unlike the Sony SRS range however the SRSx77 is top class
Ebay has it going for lowest $326
Static Ice has it going for $363So pretty good deal at $245 for JB.

Remember it was $224 before last Xmas.
Just bought one, produces an excellent sound! I also really liked the JBL Xtreme (quite heavy base) but it was $100 more so the Sony was a clear winner.

I bought one and was so happy with it I went back today to buy another one for another room. I was able to get the current offer of 20% off ticketed price of portable Bluetooth speakers applied to the $245 price. So ended up paying $199 :-)
Got one!.. yesterday paid $196… I can see that the deal + the 20% off is over now!
wow i got the srs55 for around the same price and this is a big step up. Great deal.
