The Sony x90 without hesitation.
I would look at the rating sites and also have a look yourself if you can. I just bought the sony 55x8500c and very happy with it. However my mother has the Samsung 65" 8000 and it is possibly the best picture I have seen (unable to compare the 2 directly).
Either is a great tv at a great price.
BEFORE YOU BUY: Please be aware retailers have completely messed up on their advertised samsung refresh rates for 4k tv's, samsung "200hz" tv has a real refresh rate of 100hz, and the samsung JU6400 which is advertised as "100hz" is actually 50hz. Retailers are wrongly assuming samsung's "motion rate" spec is the refresh rate, which is false. Samsung is being falsely advertised for all of their 4k tv's. Unfortunately they do not ship outside of NSW for medium to large items. (even though their online store does)
