  I been after the Alchemist messenger for a while but too expensive on amazon and their website.

  Be going to Bangkok soon and timbuk2 got a store there so fingers crossed its good pricing over there.

  So mine arrived yesterday, and it was the 2014 version rather than the 2015 version pictured. A bit disappointing as I prefer the look of the 2015 - it looks a bit more professional to me. Not a bad deal, but a bit disappointing. I'll contact them and see what they say.

  Same. Just got mine today. I dont like the look of the 2014 version. I have emailed them as well. Let me know how you go.

    So Customer Support was a little slow (seems like 1 email per day) but were alright in the end. They asked for photos, I sent some showing it's clearly the 2014 version. They apologised and said it looked like they had received the wrong bags from their supplier.

    I got offered a full refund if I returned the bag, or a partial refund ($15) if I kept it. While I prefer the 2015 version, I elected for the partial refund. I wasn't aware of a better deal around at the moment, so $43 delivered for the 2014 version is a pretty good deal. The refund should come through on CC in the next couple of days.
