Charli Chair with Pad $99, RRP $124 for Chair and $44 for Pad @ Costco, QLD, Membership Required

60

Been looking at these for a while, but they are so expensive at Baby Stores, and saw this at Costco and it included the Pad for $99. Most baby stores don't sell the Pads and you have to buy it online.

This chair is great, got mines before Christmas at deals direct when they were selling it for 40 bucks for the chair alone. That was crazy price.

Baby loves it, and is easy to use for hs parents. Great invention. New verison just came out, where it's a bath aswell but that's rrp 170

That is a good price, Cheapest i've only seen it was for $119 at baby buntings without Pad.

      • Yeah it was before they changed out, don't think they had much stock cause it kept going from out of stock to available.

  • Saw an infomercial for these a while back and couldn't stop laughing.

The Product isnt for everyone, but when you washing a slippery soapy baby in the shower you understand the benefit of the product.

      • It's a good product for one that loves to kick in the water, and is too big for the infant tub and not ready to sit in the tub.

U can just bring the Bub into the shower but this is a much safer way. Have to say 100 bucks is way to expensive but getting at the discount price is ok

        • I guess we were mainly laughing at the price they wanted to charge ($150+) for a plastic shower seat but also the BS the presenters were spewing out to new parents.

The CharliChair Features page is very much along the same lines as the infomercial which reads as a load of rubbish to me.

Portable baths are cheap and people have been using them for years. We don't have a lot of room so spent a bit extra on a Flexi Bath (they were about $45 a few years back before Stokke put their label tax on it) and a fabric bath support. Worked great from newborn to til about 2ish.

Most purchases are a matter of personal preference but I hate to see BS marketed to vulnerable new parents who are likely a little naive and just want to do the best for their little bundle of joy.

        • @OzBragain:
True, at 100 or 170 it's really expensive for what it is, but at 50 bucks it's ok prices.

Man practically everything for babies is expensive! Cots that are more expensive than a King bed and mattress
