  • That's bloody cheap

what is evo plus anyway? write speed of 20MB/s isnt that like only decent?

    • +7

      Samsung Micro SD Hierarchy:

      EVO ——— 48R - ??W
      EVO Plus — 80R - 20W
      PRO ——— 90R - 80W
      PRO Plus — 95R - 90W

      • +2

There was no real change in the write speed between the EVO and the EVO Plus. I have found it to be same.

        • Yeah I recall seeing the increase was read speed but the price difference was 1 dollar in the past so I ended up getting it but also good getting an adapter as I have got cards with no adapters before.

      • So the EVO Plus is about equivalent to the new Sandisk Ultra 64?

    • +1

I have added a link to pro plus as well, if you are after better write speed.

  • Not bad, but holding out for a 64GB U3 card for sub $35

    • That will be about the time 512GB cards with 300+MB/s R/W will be available for sub $250
(I can dream…but it really can't be that far off with the new Lexar 1800x Cards)

      • Well PC Byte did do 32GB for $16 a few weeks back, so surely can't be that hard.

        • -1

Sure, probably won't be too long, especially when U3 128GB cards get more common and lees people are interested in 64GB cards.

  • Prefer to wait for a trusted local seller.

    • +1

They already sold 163 of them, with a 99.6% rating I think they are pretty trustworthy

        Don't hold your breath ;)

Few people leaving negs about fake cards.

2000 positive and you only see the 15 negative. Says alot about you..

          @Ploix:

I said a few, but how dare I help others :)

        • +4

@storyteller: sorry didn't mean to insult you, my comment comes across somewhat aggressive

        • @Ploix:
Most people DO NOT know about fake cards as they look identical but usually perform worse (sometimes not very noticeable depends on person and usage)
Do you think the average joe is going to benchmark this to find out?
Planet Earth contains billions of counterfeit items
If a seller has ONE confirmed counterfeit report they are UNTRUSTWORTHY

        • @thelastnoob:

What about the competitor, that 'confirms' a counterfeit item for their opposition…

        • @klownz:
Good point but it is a good idea to check those 15 negatives, the person who posted it and the actual response.

        • +1

          @thelastnoob:
If they had lots of sales and only one negative, I would be a little dubious, but not automatically assume they were untrustworthy. Keep in mine that a seller may occasionally receive dodgy products themselves without their knowledge. You have to look at the overall picture.

I agree with the first part of your comment though.

        • @Gravy: use the sellers using the fakes ones every now and then to increase their profit. Dodgy products don't come from the genuine market retailers or distributors. So saying occasionally sellers receive dodgy or fake products from somewhere is wront.

        • @Gaggy:

Im sure that some sellers do it to increase profits, but with regards to the more innocent sellers it depends what channels they go through to obtain the products I guess. Saying my statement is wrong is stretching it a little, it may be rare to happen but sometimes the seller may not be aware they are selling fake goods. Even big retail stores sometimes get caught selling fake products. http://www.smh.com.au/business/retail/target-to-pay-1m-to-se…

        • @Gravy: target gave an excuse saying that but person responsible for doing the purchase must have known what he is doing when organising the items. Its not like distributors suddenly have fake items. It was Target's purchaser got it from wrong place.

        • @Ploix: If only one person complains about a counterfeit, you should walk away. If two people complain, you run.

After looking at the store name. Brains telling me no. Am I the only one?

Like MSY changing name to FastQueue Tech

  • Arrival estimate March 22 - April 7… Dunno if I could wait that long. Last time I bought tech from HK, it never arrived..

  • have 2 128G fake cards before, the write are not as its labeled on cthe card itself and can only hold 78.9G max and errors out. Wasted days copying the files only to delete it all and returning it

  • +7

    Used 1 guy twice.
first for USB stick and arrived alright

Second for a microsd card.. Arrived snapped in half. The packaging is horrible. Not a single layer of bubble layer inside, no wonder it got damaged.
Returned it but seller only will offer to pay for $5 return postage so u better hope it won't be lost coz $5 is definitely not enough for u purchase cover. At the end seller didn't even pay me back for return shipping.
BTW microsd was dodgy as fk… It's not even from HK.. it has simplify Chinese all over package and as many know there are plenty of fake micro SD card in China.
For that $5 more. I got it another from pcbyte.. Same in 3 days instead for 2-3 weeks.

    My 2 cents

Edit: was a 64gb evo plus if it matters

    • Was the first USB fake? and having simplified Chinese on packaging does not mean the item is fake.

      • English packaging and was fine as mentioned.

Yeh true but when it's tech item, it's a lot cheaper to source it from HK instead on mainland China. And the package is dodgy as well.

Oh forgot to mention. After the seller rec'd the SD card, he returned the card to the manufacturer and claim it as manufacturer defect. Lol

  • I bought a 32mb Samsung Evo Plus card from these guys. Received the card in about 3 weeks. Card was packaged well in orginal retail packaging. No dramas with authenticity. All good.

    • Did you mean GB? Did you test it with H2testw to check if it is genuine?

    • I take my comment back. Sending the card back.

I read names like ''sinceritytrading'' as ''immascambutimmaundercover''. I should open a store named ''honestyandbenevolencetrading'' with only fake products

    • "Buyfrommenowandsorryisfaketommorow"

I don't like the attempted dishonesty of places with an "au" in their name presumably to make you think they are in Australia.
I've seen a lot of this on Ebay too - they seem to pick "Darwin, NT" as their location name (presumably to explain long delivery times) & then charge a lot more than other Asian sellers (but less than legit Australian sellers).

  • +3

I only buy memory cards from Pcbyte, Futu Online and Shopping Express. They sell genuine products with good customer service. Just wait for their next deal.

  • Thanks bought a 64gb pro plus. seems to good to be true i'll make sure i test it

  • Seller sure has a lot of bad feedback.

  • I bought the 32Gb evo+ from these guys, read/write speed is slightly worse than my 32gb evo.

Can't really say anything positive or negative about this seller or product.

    Here are my results:

    • MB/s = 1,000,000 bytes/s [SATA/600 = 600,000,000 bytes/s]
