  • but will this work on my $40 Raspberry Pi?

    • If you format as FAT32 with a 3rd party utility, then yes it will.

      • :S … capping it at 32GB.

        • No, limiting it to 8TB (with 4GB max filesize). only windows limits it to 32GB (hence why use a 3rd party utility).

  • Its good for samsung s7

  • +1

Cheers Mods for combining the deals :)

  • Save $1 if i pick up from local bp

  • Class 10 UHS-I, U3 performance

    Now I'm confused!
Can cards be both Class 10 and U3?

    • Dunno… Could it possibly mean:

At -least- as fast as Class 10 goes,
but no -faster- than (eg) U3…?

    • UHS-1 is the interface, U3 is the speed rating.

the interface (UHS-1 or UHS-2) has nothing to do with the speed rating (although, the extra contacts on UHS-2 will obviously allow for faster speeds to be possible).

      • And the Class 10 reference? That's where in confused.

        • +1

Both class 10 and u3 are minimum write speed ratings. Class 10 = minimum 10mb/s and is the maximum rating under that (old) system and u3 is minimum 30mb/s, which is the current top rating for the system. Therefore, if a card is rated u3 it is automatically class 10.

There is a third system which you see most commonly on lexar, the X system (eg 633X) which refers to multiples of cd rom speed (150kb/s)

        • @Fiximol: Wait, there's a third system!?
So some cards can be Class 10 U3, and others can be Class 10 633x.
          Thanks!! I think?

        • @muncan: yes, all 3 systems can appear (eg the lexar professional 633x is also class 10 and u3) on the card.

        • Oh sorry, my mistake reading you post…I assumed you were confused on the uhs-1 vs u3. My bad! :)

  • Is this the cheapest deal on this sandisk? I'm considering it for an upcoming raspberry pi build

    • Dunno, but MSY had larger 256gb MicroSD card w/ specs like Class 10 80 MB/Sec

  • Damn bought this on Saturday for $89.99 US. Just requested a partial refund from Amazon, hopefully they will refund the difference.

    • Was that including delivery?

      • Nah it was $101 US with delivery, I picked 7-11 day delivery.

        • They are normally pretty good with refunding the difference.

@Jase2801: Just got refund, took 10 minutes from when I sent the request. Awesome service
