Sennheiser HD 35 TV Headphones - $2 @ Big W

200

Not sure if exclusive to Greenhills Big W. Scans as $0 and had to be adjusted by cashier. Comes with a very, very long extension cable with a 6.3mm stereo adapter. I'd have bought it just for that, honestly. Also has independent stereo volume control integrated into the adapter, I don't know when this would be useful?

Packaging was sealed shut with sticky tape, no idea if these are returns or old stock. There were still a few left on the shelves. Pretty small and flimsy feeling but I'll be using these instead of the terrible headphones they supply at TAFE.

Also, 6.5kg of Whiskas dry food is on sale if you're keen for a feed.

  • Does anyone know if a self checkout will print a receipt for $0 so that you can show the security person on the way out?

    • +1

nope they don't, they need the person there to enter the price manually for them

    • can i just ask what keyword you searched for to find that?

        • @CVonC: No problem

  • Anyone confirm the audio quality/ lack thereof? I suppose you can't really go wrong with $2, but my inner bargainer is too proud to be duped.

    • I'm no audiophile but they sound pretty decent for $2. A bit muddy maybe, but that could be YouTube compression. That's pretty much all I'll be using them for anyway, I've got proper headphones at home and don't want to damage them when travelling.

  • Independent volume control might be for people with bad hearing in one ear?

  • None at Gateway shopping centre (WA)

  • None at belmont wa
