Read this if you don't believe and too much sugar if you just drink the juice. Better eat the orange instead.
But this from the orange you juice yourself not the prepacked one?
The only thing you are missing from this is the fibre from the orange itself
Which is the healthiest part
The thing that you are having too much is the sugar.
Think about how many orange you will need to make one big cup of juice? 4 or 5 may be 6?
Can you eat 6 oranges at one time?
the fibre
is also the most valuable inside the orange.
fibre doesn't get digested, it goes straight through you…
..and is needed to keep the digestive system healthy.
@jv: exactly, unlike sugar. People studying African tribes with the lowest incidence of cancer have a much larger amount of fiber in their diet than we do
@jv:
Fibre is God's Drano.

Completely misleading, the post you linked is primarily talking about pre-packaged juices from companies which we all know have added sugars among other nasty ingredients. Even the last paragraph from the article: "One glass a day won’t kill you or make you fat – this is primarily for people drinking many glasses a day…". It's not rocket science that drinking or eating too much of anything is bad for you, so obviously moderation is important in everything you do.

How about this talking about fresh juice, the same too much sugar if you drink everyday.
I am not talking about it is not good just too much is not good because some people drink juice instead of water.
@superforever:
The reality is inherently juice is not bad for you, its about the amount you drink. e.g 1 glass of orange juice is actually low GI and actually counts as a serve of Fruit from your recommended intake. What you can buy in the store, whether it is from the fridge or in the supermarket aisle, is not bad for you as well. The challenge arises when people drink excessive amounts eg 1L a day vs 1 glass with breakfast, and what type of fruit juice it is. eg significantly more apples than oranges in a glass of juice.e.g 1 glass of orange juice is actually low GI and actually counts as a serve of Fruit from your recommended intake.
you are much much better off just eating the fruit…
Fruit contains fibre. Fibre slows down fructose absorption. Juiced fruit has minimal fibre. It takes multiple oranges to produce one cup of juice.
Must resist to buy useless item . .
it's a must mindset for true bargainers
I assume you drink orange juice every day for breakfast?
Reviews suggest motor will blow
just laughed at all discount after discount. let me guess. take another 50% off and it will be close to import price :) so 50%50%50%=12.5% of RRP
maybe it's a threshold for a bare bone bargain price?
Where did you find the reviews?
None of the reviews are of this exact model?
But yeah, the entire line seems pretty bad, and probably is the reason behind this discount.
I have no idea why I just bought this. Maybe it'll make a good present for someone's birthday.
I bought a manual juicer from dollar shop for $2 and still makes amazing juice and also good exercise
These should be bundled with foot-spas and coffee machines for shit people buy and use once.
Thanks OP. Bought one. Another item that's gonna sit in the pantry and will get used probably once in never. Hail OzB.
I bought this one a while ago $18 delivered - https://www.jbhifi.com.au/whitegoods-appliances/kitchen-appl… Does what I need it do, still going strong…
lol more landfill items
yesterday was the Kambrook Snack Maker and today this
Sold out
trust me , you didn't miss out on anything.
Got my princess juicer for $5 from Deals Direct a while back
Just went to the Target website and they still seem to be in stock for $49 which is still way better then $99 and of course use cash rewards
The juice you get from a manual juicer still tastes better and is much healthier than the juice you get from this machine or Boost kiosks.
The manual press will also squeeze out the orange oil from the peel which has excellent anti-inflammatory and cancer prevention properties. Don't discard the pulp too, OJ with pulp tend to have lower sourness to it. If you want proper healthy OJ, this is the way to go.
If you want OJ from electric juicers, might as well just add sugar into water with some orange essence.
Drink too much orange juice is no good to you.
