  Any views from someone who's tried both on how the GoPro session compares with an underwater tough point and shoot camera like the Panasonic Ts5 or 6? Just looking for pure underwater stills and video. GoPro seems to have fantastic video, at least in the promos. Not sure if it's the wide angle view?

  Got the $12 tripod last time, it's not bad for the price. Putting a DSLR with a heavy lens on it is a bit unnerving, since the base didn't go that wide and the whole thing barely weighs anything.

  The weight is a great quality for camping though - I took it hiking for a few days and it was fantastic for a few late night long exposures while only adding about 600g to my pack.

  Ok guys, I complained to Harvey Norman that the prices had taken down before the 29/2 and I got an email later saying they would honour the $243 price on a Hero 3+ Silver. It's a one off code, but I can't stack it with the new customer code, so being a true ozbargainer, I've decided that despite it being a good price, it's not the best possible price, so my heart can't commit.   I got my GoPro Session delivered today. I'm a bit disappointed that I can't connect my ipod touch with the session camera if I don't have wifi. I thought it will work with bluetooth :S
