The plural is "avocados". I know it's confusing: potato becomes potatoes, and tomato becomes tomatoes, and they are from the Spanish as well, but that's English for you.
also depends how big they are ….. think weight not qty.
south melbourne market today they had 6 avo's for $4 pre packed ….. but they were tiny avos. One of the stands had avos $4 each … but they were very large …. so it is also a weight thing.
just paid $6 for two avo's. 3 bucks each is too dear, 4 for $6 is more like it.
