Fantastic prices and applies to students, teachers, and anyone under 26 at time of travel. Called STA and there are plenty of seats available. You'll need to call STA on 134 782 to make a booking. Price is inclusive of all taxes & fees. Enjoy :)

Just went into a store and ask, staff said outbound must be before 7 Mar to get these prices.
Thanks TA, now I feel old!
Great find and thanks for calling up STA so we aren't all thinking there are just 5 seats.
At this price, there probably soon will be lol
I see there is a cash back link - is there any way to use this since we have to call up?
Unfortunately not. Cashback only applies to online purchases.
Now I need a fake ID ..
Try SilkRoad.. they make fake student card
But how much?
If only someone did flight deals for pensioners…
Maybe enrol in Udemy and say you're a student… :)
How will they know if I'm a student or not.
Good question. I'd jump on this but I am a student so can't go with class starting in a few days!
You have to buy an international student card with them. STA had an amazing deal last year with flights to New York and we got Flight Centre to beat STA-you don't have to be a student for this!!!
So i'm 30+ and not a student. What's the price difference?
With Etihad - $400 odd.
Are they flying over the war zone from Abu Dhabi-Rome?
same here, interested in knowing the ans
Are they flying over the war zone from Abu Dhabi-Rome?
The whole of the middle east and northern africa is a war zone but nothing to worry about given it's much more likely you will crash and die on landing than being shot down by a crazed bearded man.
So teachers are on of the people who can use this. But the available dates are during term time.. Good work STA..
Thats so true! Its like dangling a carrot and saying you cant have it. Silly STA LOL
27! Not a student or teacher. But my mom is a teacher. Get her to buy me the ticket?
Pretty sure you'll have to buy a teacher's STA membership card.
Depending on your circumstances, maybe you should get yourself a credit card that will get you FF points? The Amex bonuses right now are gold. :)
So I buy a teacher's STA membership card and I'm legally a teacher? I'd think they would need my teacher's ID or something to that effect :/
Of course, they'd need some form of evidence of your status as a teacher.
I'm not a teacher though. Just trying to figure out if it's possible to get this deal without being any of the above.
To prove you are a teacher an STA employee will inspect your wardrobe to make sure it has not been updated in the last 15 years. The STA employee will then take you to lunch. If at the end of the meal and it is time to split the bill you complain loudly that you did not have a dessert and will not pay 50/50 then only then will they truly have proof that you are a teacher.
Are they legally able to restrict the sale to under 26ers? I would have thought this would be classed as age discrimination.
Babies go free. Now that's discrimination!
Which airline let baby for free?
As hand luggage
Which airline let baby for free?
The ones with bassinets in the overhead lockers.
@altomic: Baby could fit in hand luggage- not sure about them going through scanners.
@GameChanger: "gamma radiation never hurt anyone" - Dr Bruce Banner.
@altomic: that's true it can't penetrate paper( If I recall correctly from school)
@GameChanger: So if a gamma ray burst is about to hit destroy all life on earth, we just have to hide behind some A3 sheets from the photocopier?
I think they do this through the International student, youth or teacher card scheme - which requires youth to be below a certain age. I went in and asked. So technically yes.
What if I'm a person of colour, over 27 and a female? Oh lord can you imagine the back lash.
It might be, submit a complaint to the Human Rights Commission and see how you go.
I was thinking if the Etihad Best Price Promise would work with this fare of STA.
Only if you qualify in the first place right…
Sorry, I read again all the conditions and doesn't seem to apply in this case:
When the Best Price Promise is not applicable:
When the Third Party Price is being offered outside the public domain or is a special eligibility fare, such as (and not limited to) staff prices, closed user offers, third-party promotion prices, corporate discount prices, senior, affiliate, opaque agencies, consolidator, visit family and relatives prices, wholesale and group prices.
What fare class is it? Eligible for status credit (guest/Velocity)?
how much if i want to travel in november?
Don't you have your own jet yet?!
I think Mr Cent is broke http://www.news.com.au/entertainment/celebrity-life/celebrit…
Velocity Frequent Flyers should note that 1 leg each way appears to be operated by Alitalia, rather than Etihad. So you won't earn FF points or credits on that leg unfortunately.
Looking for return ticket to venice in sept 2016. Anyone got best price advice? And yes im a teacher so STA help?
Definitely buy a student or youth travel card if you can. I used mine for a solid 2 years after it expired in Europe for discounts, only twice was it rejected for being out of date and/or youth not student card. Very handy to have some sort of card to flash at people (esp in non English speaking countries!) Must be able to keep straight face while lying however.
So i can't get in on this deal if I'm over 26, not a student, not a teacher?
I think i'll wait for the $849
Great deal. Travel between 11 Feb and 31 Mar, tickets to be booked by 21 Feb.
