I bought six boxes of these for friends in Langkawi last November. Cheap nasty crap. No off/on switch so difficult to fully charge prior to use. Luggage wasn't a problem as I picked up KUL-PER-KUL on malaysian airlines for a song. Was in langkawi again in March and tried to get the half that failed active. Bad connectivity with battery. Im there again In April and fear to see how many more have failed. Edit: I must add the ones I purchased were the ones that change colour from red to hlue to green etc. If these are the ones up to you!!
Don't waste your money on these, I am still waiting for these to charge during the day and light up at night.
The last 6 cheap solar lights I bought from Masters all failed withing months. I gave up. When I complained to my brother-in-law about this he said he seals all his with silicon and they last forever (well… a long time) don't know if this is true but it looks like it's time to give it a go. Thanks for the post.
