Jewellery is one of those things where it is easy to put any price tag you like. then you can do 90% if you want and can still make a HEALTHY profit.
Thats like anything though. Like I know the cost price of clothing is dirt cheap but we (myself included) still go crazy over sales!
I think 50% off is a good deal if people were intending on buying some pieces. And it's good to support small businesses/startups and local artists.
What's wrong with that? If the discount is off their normal prices, it's still a deal/discount? You think Vesace, Prada and so on do a simple % markup, which makes their sales not wanted? Your logic suggests that everything sold has to have a fixed markup (based on a simple cost of production) for any discounts to be valid/worthwhile. That's not always the case.
Your opinion doesn't warrant a down vote on the deal. It is a good deal for people interested in buying Australian made, custom jewellery.
But if you compare with other stores, prices are fairly competitive with other personalised jewellery stores (after the code)
If you're into local Australian personalised jewellery, I think these are of higher quality and there's more to pick from. I highly recommend Belle Fever as well.

bought. I would suggest using close up of the pieces as the thumbnail. The model (however pretty she is… ) is not the reason PPL select an item over another. I had to click every piece to find out what they actually looked like.
