  • Are these ocz ssd any good/ reliable?

    • +1

Owned by Toshiba, who are really good at making NAND, so I'd say definitely. No experience with them myself, I always stick to Sandisk.

    • Seem to get bad reviews as slow.

No reference to reliability, but wouldn't be top of my list.

I had an ocz ssd that I got from my. Lasted about 12 months then completely died without notice.

      • Well definitely not getting one then

        then completely died without notice.

Did you expect a phone call?

        • no but…..is it that hard to send a quick texty?

  • 1024x600 screen res, might only be 7 inch but that's still not going to look to good and should not be $249!

    • $149* and yep, still an awful price for the specs

      • I was talking about the $249 one…

        • +1

You said 7" so he thought you were talking about the $149 one. The $249 one is 8" fyi

        • 1,024 x 600 is terrible for $49 let alone $149

          1,280 x 800 is acceptable for $99, $249 not so much

huawei is not a brand i trust for tablets, especially when it comes to ongoing support

so no, i wouldnt touch these

        • @tonyjzx: What woul be your pick for a sub $200 7 inch tablet?

        • @hteguy201:

No prob, but both say they have 7inch screens

        • @thecrevis:

There really aren't all that many great 7 inch tablets (since phones and phablets have creeped up to 5 and 6 inches screen size). All the latest ones are 8". I suggest you look at the chinese brand tablets.

Nexus 7 is probably the last great 7 inch tablet I can recall. You can also get a galaxy tab 4 with LET for $218

    • And 5 limit. Who's gonna buy 5 at the price.

  • I have had a 120 gig OCZ fail under warranty and was replaced. after 13 months it also failed and was not replaced.

    • Definitely should be replaced at 13 months under the Australian Consumer Law. Go back to the retailer and tell them to replace it or you will go to VCAT/QCAT.

According to the pcmag review, you should expect regular hard drive speeds for transferring large files.

  • I've had two ocz's both failed. Have had many other brands during and since and none have failed. Ocz never again.

    • My current OCZ is at 1400 days and still showing as perfect. I must have gotten lucky, whereas I have had two 3.5" Seagate hard drives fail on me and won't go near them now, where as some people love them.I think it comes down to luck.
