I had 1 of these a couple years back, it was pretty good for a few weeks until the plastic gas tank expanded and it wouldn't hold gas anymore.

    • Expanded so it could hold MORE gas amirite?

  • Have this one couple years back, only lasted for 5 use, the tip is not hot enough to melt even the solder.

    Toptom said for warranty:

We will usually offer you a refund or send a replacement as soon as the problem is confirmed.
Sometimes you may need to ship the defective item back to us for free repair service or a new replacement. Customer should cover the return shipping fee, and TOMTOP is responsible for the shipping costs of arranging reshipment by air mail.

If we have to cover the return shipping which it about $20 AUD it is not worth it. And it did not stated the warranty period too.

I will avoid any Chinese seller trying to sell to Australia, I would prefer ebay in this case as ebay au is local business any problem you can use fair trading or NCAT.

      • FFS - It's only butane, not uranium.

Consider how safe a $1 butane cigarette lighter is.

  • Bought this for $50 @ Bunnings a couple weeks ago

  • I got around the same set from Aldi awhile back for $25.
It was also made in Taiwan. Not sure about this one, but most likely made in China.

Also not too sure about how safe it is also, the Aldi one seemed to have all the safety approval marks on it.

  • Jv no they didn't say why just got posted back to banggood.

  • Purchased; though shipping is $7.
