Did you watch the TV show also?

I had used the service and it is good. From what I know, I think Amazon and Rakuten may provide some incentive to Tenso on this. Beside this, Tenso had low service fees. Checkout their website. They are very reliable as I had tried them many times.
It says that "There will be 150 JPY Buyee service fee if the total order amount is less than 3,000 JPY."
Oops… however 150 JPY = 1.794 AUD. I think should be alright if you had something to buy over there.
is this a limited time thing? or is it forever?
Just signed up.
Thx op
Looks like they make thier money on a handeling fee on dispaching your item out of Japan. It's only 500 odd yen, about AU$8.50
Anything particularly cheap to buy direct from Japan?
So do you sign up for tenson or buyee. A bit confused on how to set up the proxy for Amazon jp
Sign up for Tenso. They will provide Japanese address and Tenso number. Register with Amazon JP and enter provided address and Tenso number which must be on address label.
meh, can buy stuff from aliexpress for cheaper
and enjoy sifting thru the fakes from there
I don't get it. So what exactly does Buyee offer over Tenso, other than being a little bit more English friendly? (And waiving the service fee, I guess.)
Thanks OP - I normally buy and ship to my family's house in Japan and for them to ship over here, but if there's another quicker option, I'll give it a go.
Is amazon japan cheaper than amazon US?
I don't think it is cheaper but there is different stock, mainly Japanese books but you can still find English books and our exchange rate is a bit better right now
if it's just books you want amazon ships directly to your Aussie address though
what's the catch?
