Got an email today pretty much any luggage they have in-store is buy one, get one (same or lesser value).
Good deal if you have been eyeing something for ages but never on sale, you can now have two for price of one.
Edit: looks like there is an exclusion list, too good to be true
Excludes Rimowa, Crumpler, Hartmann, Brics, Nike, R.M.Williams and Rodd & Gunn.
Not sure myself, the email is quite vague mentioning only "Cannot be used with other offers. Some items previously discounted"
Just rang Castle Hill. The offer applies to the original price only, not the "sale" price. The sale price of the bags I wanted is still much higher than the sale price at Bagworld, which includes postage. No deal.
I was there yesterday. The antler cyber lite 2 range was 40% off and another antler set 30%. Other sets were all just normal price. Definitely not a bad deal of you are looking for two of the same luggage to max out the 50%. I doubt the deal would apply to discounted sets.
Luggage prices rarely hit 50% discount on all types. Usually only on the older models or slow sellers so if you are interested in one today just look at the latest and greatest ones as the older ones are occasionally found up to 60% off at Myer online and Groupon type sales.
No deal. I remember looking at Myer's "40%" luggages, cost more than other sellers (ie COTD, luggagedirect, bagword)'s normal price. So not much of a deal at 50% too.
Didn't know Myer sold Rimowa. That would've been nice to be ablt to have 50% since they very rarely ever go on sale.
The rimowas are never on sale
Only because the distributor here thinks Rimowa is some luxury brand. However, for those who have travelled to Germany, will see, that they are dime a dozen.
Doesn't help that places like koffer24 aren't allowed to ship Rimowa to Australia anymore.
i doubt that they are a dim a dozen besides in certain countries like Germany. I don't recall seeing them cheap in USA either and def not in asia
@jskf01: im not sure which part of asia you were at, but over at changi airport and narita i saw plenty being carried on board and waiting at the luggage belt. might have been knock off, but from where i was standing, it looked like the real deal to me.
you may have seen alot of them there but did you check how much they cost in those countries? can almost guarantee they are not cheap in those countries
@jskf01: no doubt they are expensive as hell in asia. hell, if anyone buys one in asia, id dare say, they are an idiot. because you can buy them in germany shipped to singapore; pay customs the GST and still be in front.
same deal goes for australia. find a website that will ship them to australia and you'll be sweet. unfortunately koffer24.com no longer ships to asia or australia due to rimowa restrictions. but im sure there are others who will.
Thanks this really save me. Bought two antler cabin baggages on Sunday at 40% discount for an upcoming trip. Returned today and bought back again at effective 50% discount, saved more than $50. I hope I can also claim back the GST at airport under TRS.
But does it apply to discounted items or only full priced items?
