Was wandering through DSE in Mac Centre and saw these (black only) at $139.30. Thinking it was too good to be true I popped next door to JB HIFI and saw that they had them at ~$300 (and looking on the web it looks like the next best price is ~$225 at Bing Lee). And yeah, I know that these aren't the best headphones around, but if you're in the market for these it might be worth looking in DSE.
Don't know if it's in any other stores, but the tag on the display cabinet said "as advertised" so it could be elsewhere too.

  They're usually 225 from binglee and Wireless1 Parramatta, so yeah, decent price if you're after Sony cans especially.

  They're not bad headphones, considering they're closed type the sound was a lot wider than expected. But of course it's more tuned for mainstream tastes so it has quite a punch for bass. Uses titanium coated drivers, which is new to the audio world.

    Buy one from DSE, and return this unopened one to Binglee? P.S. I am not sure about Binglee's return policy. Please check with Binglee before you proceed.

  In a sealed box for 139? Most sales items at Dicksmith are all ex-demo.

    I highly doubt it. They just require 1 set for demo and considering they have headphones in stock and available in different stores they will be brand new.
