Yes. I can confirm that the link provided by FistOfMonkey works, but I needed to also have a credit card or PayPal account on file (I'm guessing it is to confirm that I am over 18 years old because the game might be "R" rated).

It's MA15. The R rating was only introduced in Australia in the middle of 2013 if memory serves me correctly. I think the credit card thing is for all purchases like Amazon which is annoying. Anyway, free game.

Thanks to activity on my previous phone, for the privilege of discovering this I had to download the Microsoft verification app and verify the account by entering a code sent to my email. Very confusing process because default verification method to add an account to the app is to get a code on the app (who the hell coded that?!?), but since the account hasn't successfully been added you can't do that.
Get a free Coles card with no cash loaded to avoid giving details!

cool, they try to make it so hard to get xbox 360 games for xbox one. wish you could see xb1 and xbox 360 games within same window instead of having to open a browser and goto the market place all the time.

idiots microsoft require a credit card for a $0 purchase, but error when I try to add a card.
Buy the game on the console itself. Website always requires a payment method.

worked for me - yes had to re-add my credit card as I've been using ps3 and ps4 mainly. I now have a xboxone so I'll try it on that tonight

I had never switched my region from the US to AU. So if your xbox account is setup with another region thats why it might not be working. I switched mine and it worked no problem.

Just a note, I wasnt a huge fan of this witcher game but the witcher 3 was in my top 3 games of all time easily.

You can't buy it on the One to my knowledge, yet. You need to buy it on the PC or 360, then it'll be in your ready to install list on Xbox One.
i already found it out. thanks anyway. but i cant purchase Deus Ex: Human Revolution. its simply greyed out.

never mind. i finally got it purchases. i had to choose the xbox360 version of the game from xbox360 section, i cant choose the xbox360 version from xbox 1 section. (if you search the game in the xbox store, you will understand what i mean. very stupid system)

I've tried changing regions, ordered on the Xbox website on pc but doesn't show up on xbone. The confirmation order says it should be in download queue. I give up, I've already got the game on disc guess I have to play with disc to boot. Such an annoying feature with these backwards compat games, if you have the disc inside the xbone it won't recognize it, you have to eject and load it again.
I have had games take a while to appear on my ready to install list on Xbox One. Though not lately…
Yeah, I'm assuming you are looking under 'ready to install' on your Xbox one ?
