I have dried specs of playdough all over my carpet. Any deals on carpet cleaning?
So, the official line from Hasbro is:
“When attempting to remove PLAY-DOH compound do NOT use hot water or cleaning solutions of any kind. To remove PLAY-DOH compound from carpet or fabrics, allow it to dry completely, and then loosen with a stiff brush. It may be necessary to vacuum clean or wash with gentle soap and cold water. You may need to repeat the process in order to completely remove the PLAY-DOH compound.”

The official line from Hasbro is:
“Pain in the ass to remove once its in your carpet.”@Overtime2000: I think so. And in particular they are saying, don't use a normal carpet cleaning strategy… Use cold soap and water, and dry it, vacuum it, wash it repeatedly.

Use to eat so much of that stuff when I was a kid
eating playdough??? I preferred gluestick so much more
Glu-Stiks always smelt real good, but there was no taste. Play-doh was nice and salty. Especially homemade.
I don't know what you had, but I found plenty of flavor from my blustiks and UHUs
They actually were Blu Stiks. I guess the flavour wasn't as lasting. Would have been about 17 years ago so it's hard to remember. I'll have to get one and try.
Biggest pain to clean up after they dried up… i guess that's why kids love them so much… mess = fun
