It's awkward taking pictures in a shop. You don't know if someone is watching you and wondering what you are up to taking pictures of products in store. Probably thinking you are a spy for a rival supermarket. I'm with the OP and his photography skills. I think it's just fine ;)

I take photos of products in stores all the time. Nobody has ever called me out. I very much doubt anyone would care and if they did it would be highly uncommon.
I think this is entirely in people's heads as a lack of self confidence or misplaced solipsism thing. Nobody cares about you or what you are doing.
Has ANYONE EVER had an ACTUAL issue with this?

These are so good, pity my Coles wont have it at that price… Anyone remember when it was block like and not layered in wavy choc?
Probably just individual stores. I was in a Vic Coles earlier, didn't see them. I love peppermint chocolate, though. I agree, hope it's not being discontinued, and just close to use by date or something.

I work at a coles store, and if you see something like this, they're usually trying to burn the item. Like OP said, it's out by next month. To know if the item is being deleted, look and see if the ticket has a barcode, if it hasn't got one it is on it's way out.
I grate them onto the top of my trifle. Tastes wonderful. Especially in the sherry/jam sauce of the leftovers two days later.
They're pretty great in homemade icecream too.

I think this is the one occasion when its acceptable to Broden something.
